Overview
A local and sovereign knowledge base — with MCPs — for self-contained multimodal content: screenshots, bookmarks, visual blobs. The point is to keep them on the machine, searchable, without sending the archive to a third-party host.
I designed and implemented it. There is no team.
What I built
Ingestion and local indexing for mixed visual and bookmark files, plus an interface to find them again.
Current state
Maintained and deployed. The source repository is private and is not linked from this page.
What I learned
Local-first products fail on the boring parts: file watching, duplicates, permissions, backup. The interesting retrieval work only starts after those are honest.
Limitations
No metrics are published for this project. Personal file contents are not used as evidence.
